A few gigs coming up for you to enjoy. This Sunday, 9/11 we are playing with Joe Whiting, Tuff Luck and Groupo Pagan at the Sherwood Inn Seafood Fest. We hit the stage around 1:30pm and play ’til about 2:30pm. Read more about it here.
Next up is the Skaneateles Ski Hill Fundraiser on 9/16. Doors open at 6 for Dusty Pascal from 6:15-7:15, McDonald Ashford Irish Dancers from 7:30-8 and then we play from 8-10 p.m. . It is VERY family friendly – food, music, raffles, silent auction, kids crafts, etc. $15 for adults in advance and $30 family MAX or $20 at the door, $40 family max. Kids are FREE.
Finally we are once again playing at the Tipp Hill Music Festival. This year we are on The Grove stage and play around 3pm. Many great bands and always a fun time. Read more about it here.

Just a quick reminder we will be at Coleman’s on February 5th, usual start time of 9:30pm so round up some friends and come on down. And this one hot off the presses, we have another fun gig coming up in February – There will be a fundraiser for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Tipp Hill (in the St. Pat’s Gym) on Feb 18th from 7-11. The MM will play from 8-11. $10 cover….money to support funding the parade in March. More info to come on that one. See you all soon.

The Mere Mortals will be at the Creekside in Skaneateles this Wednesday, Turkey Eve. Original plan was the Sherwood, but unfortunately that fell through. Creekside will be a nice alternative, certainly intimate! We will be starting a bit before 8pm and wrapping up somewhere between 11-12. This will be a good opportunity to stretch out before one of my favorite events of the year, the Turkey Trot- which will be at 9:30 Thurs in front of the Sherwood. Remember, do not partake in too many beers/wines at Creekside, you are in training!

Well it’s been a while since we have been out on the town but we are returning to our two favorite bars in the next couple of weeks. We are at Coleman’s Friday November 5th, 9:30pm to 1:30am and the following Saturday, November 13th at Shifty’s from 9:00pm to 1:00am. We hope you can make it out to one or both of these shows. It’s been a while since we have been in a proper barroom, so it’s sure to be a fun time!
